8:45PM Bryan, while on the phone with his mom, decides he wants to brew 10 cups of coffee…but forgets to put the lid on the carafe. 8:50 Coffee & grounds overflow into the fill tank on the back of the coffee maker. 8:55 Bryan realizes it & puts the lid on. 9:15 I decide I want to make more. Fill up the water, grounds, etc. huffs puffs 9:17 beeeep! Only…no coffee…hmmm Try again…same thing. Dump water out & realize what happened because there’s a bunch of grounds coming out too. 9:40 trying again…nothing. Time for a new coffee pot. 10PM research on multiple websites for a good cheap coffee pot. Find one at Walmart, in stock, going to get it. 10:30 they don’t have it. 10:40 getting my phone out of my car to research more reviews. 11:30 decide on a lesser machine, but whatever, I’m just irritated now. 11:40 realized I forgot water, go back in & buy a case of water. 12AM pulling up to my street the same time as a train is crossing. Waiting…waiting…the train has now STOPPED and is just sitting blocking the entrance to my road! Ok. Gotta go to a different entrance. I drive up & down for TEN minutes. No success. Decide to go the other way..hey!! An opening! Here comes the train, & the gates are down. 12:15 turn around & finally get home. Unpack the coffee pot, set it up, program it. 1AM dead tired & crawling into bed.
