a friend of mine is a professional up north, & when he’s slow, & for extra experience, he does a wedding now & then for another company. also my friend in dallas looks for extra photographers now & then when his guy is busy. so i know it’s very possible. i think you just need to call around, tell em how experienced you are, ask em to keep your info on hand in case they ever need a 2nd shooter. or you could make a mini resume & post it in some coffee shops.
