Today we went to Austin Zoo. Among the normal stuff- lions, tigers, & bears, there were a few things that made this trip special.
First off, this zoo is a rescue zoo. 90% of the animals were donated or rescued from private owners like circuses, labs, people who had them as pets & could no longer take care of them, etc. So that made their stories a little more special. Secondly, the llamas lips are absolutely hilarious to watch eating out of someone’s hand! Third, while Stephanie was feeding one of the goats out of a paper bag, the goat grabbed the bag out of Stephanie’s hand, turned it upside down, dumped out the remainder of the food, and ate the entire bag! Then casually walked off! We all were dying laughing.
