So I shot the LCP yesterday. Out of the 100 rounds, it jammed up on me twice. Also, when I pulled the slide back to load the 1st round, a couple times it didn’t load the round completely, & I had to physically push the slide forward. I didn’t clean it before I shot it, & it was pretty oily when I bought it. I don’t know if that would effect performance.
I didn’t mind how it shot. It didn’t jump out of my hands, like I’ve heard some other complain about, & as long as you keep a decent grip on it, it’s not a problem. It’s definitely not “fun” to shoot, but for what it is, & what it’s designed for, I love it. I’ll be able to carry when I normally would be printing. Granted, it IS 6+1, & they’re only .380, but if it was a larger caliber, it would be too much for a gun that size. I’d definitely feel much more secure & confident carrying a G19, but that’s not always an option.
Aiming, & keeping a tight grouping isn’t easy, but considering you’ll probably be shooting at close range if you ever NEED it, that shouldn’t be an issue. Feel free to ask any questions you have.
I recently found a great review for the LCP & many other guns on a youtube channel called “Nutnfancy”.
