If you’ve found this, chances are you’re going through what I just went through. You clicked on something you shouldn’t have, and now you’re trying to figure out how to get rid of it. I found a lot of junk online, but wanted something from a legit site. So I found this on Norton’s site. It’s a very simple process, and it worked great for me! Nothing complicated about it, as long as you follow their easy instructions. This link will take you to the instruction page on how exactly to get rid of it. It’ll have you go into safe mode and download a Norton-created program that scans your computer and gets rid of the problem. Good luck! Please let me know if it worked or didn’t work for you.
