This is for those of you who have a program installed on Facebook to automatically update your status with your twitter updates. I have figured out a simple trick to update twitter withOUT updating Facebook, too.
Send a message to yourself. Such as: @username then your message.
If that’s still confusing, my twitter user name is: JML77. If I wanted to only update my status on twitter, this is what I’d send to twitter from my phone (or web, or whatever):
@JML77 just got off work, ready to get some coffee & relax!
Why would someone want to do that? Maybe the last message you sent was funny, or important, & you want to keep it as your status on Facebook for a while longer. I don’t know, but this gives you some more control when you need it. If you use this, or find it handy, let me know! You can also follow me on twitter if you’d like.
